Minnesota Waste Wise

About Us

Minnesota Waste Wise (MWW) is a member-supported, private nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation. We are an affiliate of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.

Our mission is to help businesses and organizations reduce waste, save money and protect the environment. We help reduce waste by offering technical and informational services to all our members to help them effectively manage their solid waste challenges.

Program Background

The Minnesota Waste Wise program is a result of a partnership agreement between the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and the Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance, which is now part of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce established and implemented Minnesota Waste Wise in February 1994 to show that a voluntary approach could successfully reduce waste.
