The Minnesota Chamber supports investment in the state’s transportation infrastructure for the efficient movement of people and goods wherever we are located. We are a mobile society. Minnesotans expect and depend on a statewide system of roads, bridges and transit to get us where we want to go on time and safely.
Sitting in Twin Cities traffic is annoying, and costly. Navigating bumpy roads is bothersome, and unsafe. From I35 to I94, transportation funding is vital for Minnesota businesses to keep their products and services moving throughout Minnesota and beyond. Contact your legislators and ask them to increase money being invested in all transportation infrastructure - roads, bridges and transit.
On average, 1.73 million passengers fly domestic routes each day simply by using their state- issued drivers license to board a plane. Imagine if your employees were unable to board a plane at MSP to fly 35 minutes to Chicago-Midway for a business meeting? Minnesota is only 1 of 2 states that has yet to pass a REAL ID law. Effective January 22, 2018, if you or your employees plan to fly - for business or leisure - and REAL ID hasn't passed, you'll need an alternate ID to get on a plane.
Contact your legislators and tell them to pass REAL ID now so you can get to where you need and want to go!
