Greater Lakes Area Safety and Health Council (GLASH).

The Greater Lakes Area Safety and Health Council has been developed to assist area Safety and Health professionals stay current on critical safety and health issues. Present focus is centered on workplace safety, with future goals to expand to the community level.

Membership
The Greater Lakes Area Safety and Health (GLASH) Council consists of general membership, which includes but is not limited to, firms in manufacturing, processing, repair, health care, retail, transportation,or servicing of goods. Also, firms that service manufacturing such as insurance, emergency organizations or contract companies. Members may be firms or individuals who are industrial suppliers or concerned individuals.

Monthly Meetings: every 2nd Tuesday from 11:30-1PM at the Holiday Inn (Alexandria) with a speaker at every meeting.

Upper Midwest Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association

Industrial hygienists are scientists and engineers committed to protecting the health and safety of workers, the community, and the environment. These occupational and environmental health professionals assess workplaces, communities and homes for potential health hazards.
