Minnesota Resources

Corporate Volunteerism Council-Twin Cities (CVC) is a professional organization of corporate members and associate nonprofit members, all of which promote volunteerism throughout the community. CVC works to support and increase workplace volunteerism.

The Management Assistance Program (MAP) for Nonprofits works with thousands of nonprofit groups, primarily in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. It provides quality, affordable management consulting and board recruitment services to build the capacity of nonprofits. MAP coordinates volunteers and helps connect people with board service opportunities.

Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota advocates for the expansion of mentoring and is a resource for mentors and more than 350+ mentoring programs. MPM promotes youth mentoring by recruiting and training mentors and providing program management assistance to direct service programs. Their website links potential mentors with children who need one and promotes workplace mentoring programs.

HandsOn Twin Cities, formerly the Volunteer Resource Center, brings people together to strengthen communities through meaningful volunteer action. It works to link volunteers with volunteer opportunities, develop meaningful volunteer projects, and provide training and consulting for volunteer managers and groups, among other activities.
