CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

Businesses – indeed, all Minnesotans – depend on a competent and fair judiciary. In several states, the integrity of the judicial system has come into question because expensive political campaigns have been waged over state Supreme Court and Court of Appeals seats.

2012 Legislative Priority

Minnesota should amend its Constitution to implement a retention election system similar to that recommended by the Quie Commission. This system would have two components:
