Growing business –specifically by connecting Minnesota companies with Minnesota suppliers – got a boost March 7 at the first MN Supplier Match roundtable. The initiative is a program of Grow Minnesota!, the Minnesota Chamber’s distinctive private-sector business retention and assistance program.

The Legislature is in recess from March 30 to April 9. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with lawmakers in their home districts and emphasize the importance of our initiatives to growing businesses for the state’s long-term vitality.
Thanks to all those businesses and local chamber of commerce partners that help advance our legislative agenda. The Minnesota Chamber annually visits with newspapers across the state, and many of you join us. Putting local faces on our priorities at the Capitol is critical to advancing our agenda to grow Minnesota.

Through the Minnesota Chamber Federation, any business with 10 or fewer full time employees who is a member of a participating local chamber will receive a complimentary associate membership in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. This partnership aims to empower small companies, leverage grassroots strength and engage you in a stronger way as we work to grow Minnesota’s economy.
BENEFITS TO COMPANIES:
Local governments have begun passing wage and benefit mandates on private-sector employers located in their communities.
