RaeAnna’s role involves a wide range of policy work. On the legislative side this includes bill tracking and correspondence, analyzing legislation, writing reports, representing the Minnesota Chamber at meetings, conferences, and hearings, and compiling the annual voting record. RaeAnna also aids in developing participation and engagement strategies for specific grassroots long-term and short-term needs. RaeAnna administers the Chamber Leadership Fund PAC, which includes developing candidate questionnaires during the election cycle; managing the endorsement process; and coordinating with local chambers on endorsement recommendations.
While earning her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Minnesota, she completed an internship at the Minnesota State Senate which inspired her to pursue a career in public policy. In 2019, she was appointed by Mayor Melvin Carter to serve as a board member on the Neighborhood STAR Board, representing Ward 6 in St. Paul.
Aside from avidly following all things political, RaeAnna is a huge animal-lover, she enjoys traveling, riding horses and watching dressage, spending time with her pets and family, archery, and volunteering.
