Our objective, each and every day, is to ensure that your business has the most competitive business environment possible. The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce has nearly a century of distinguished accomplishments as the state’s premier business advocacy association. Each and every member strengthens our efforts on behalf of your business and employees, and thousands of others across the state.
The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce is on your team. At the State Capitol, we are your full-time government affairs staff, shaping public policy to strengthen the business climate. We provide year-round access to key policy-makers and the state’s business decision-makers. Discounts on quality insurance products and services will save you money. Our hands-on staff can guide you through the bureaucratic maze of regulatory agencies. No matter the issue, our goal is to ensure your business success.
Business Advocacy
Minnesota Chamber of Commerce members set the agenda for all Minnesota employers – large and small, whether in the metropolitan area or Greater Minnesota. Your business agenda is front and center at the Capitol, thanks to the year-round grassroots efforts of our members and lobbying team.
Business Retention & Job Growth
A distinctive private-sector initiative of the Minnesota Chamber, Grow Minnesota! focuses on retaining and expanding companies. The purpose of this partnership with selected local chambers of commerce is twofold: First, to thank employers for their commitment to this state; and, to assist in resolving issues that impede their growth in Minnesota. We annually connect with about 800 business owners and CEOs, and these conversations enhance the development of our public policies.
Business Solutions
Minnesota Chamber Business Services provides our members access to group employee benefits, human resources products and services free or at competitive rates. Business Services, a subsidiary of the Minnesota Chamber, offers these in partnership with industry leaders.
Work Smart
Recognizing business philanthropy.
Businesses are modest about their giving, but we know that business contributions are at the root of successful communities across our state. Minnesota Business Gives, conducted in partnership with local chambers of commerce, is designed to motivate, educate and recognize local businesses for their important and significant contributions through their giving and community involvement. It’s a win-win equation – strong businesses and strong communities.
Reducing waste, saving money for your business. Minnesota Wise Wise helps businesses and organizations reduce waste, save money and protect the environment. We offer technical and informational services - including a waste audit - to members to help them effectively manage their solid waste.
Access and Education
Helping you stay informed. Members receive up-to-date and accurate information when it comes to what’s happening on business issues. A monthly newsletter, bimonthly legislative e-mail updates and issue alerts are among the communications that keep everyone abreast of actions at the Capitol.
Unprecedented access. When the Minnesota Chamber speaks, policy-makers take notice. Our members meet quarterly with the governor, and staff routinely has the attention of House and Senate leaders. We are the first call for media seeking the viewpoint of the business community.
Political Action
Pro-business candidate support. The Minnesota Chamber Leadership Fund supports candidates who support business. The Leadership Fund, a nonpartisan Political Action Committee, endorses and helps elect pro-business candidates for the Legislature.
The Minnesota Chamber unites the business community around an agenda that will create an environment for economic expansion. We excel at offering private-sector solutions to public problems. Our bottom line is to help bolster yours.
