Leaders Lab

Leaders Lab 2022

Leaders Lab is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage Minnesota’s developing business leaders (approximately late 20s to 40). It will enhance your personal and professional growth, connect you with business leaders statewide, and provide understanding into what drives Minnesota’s economy and how policy affects the success of business in our state. The program consists of four, two-day sessions.

Why should you apply for 2022 Leaders Lab? Take it from some of our recent participants: the top 5 reasons to apply for Leaders Lab this year.

Tim Oxborough

Sugar Lake Lodge

“The inefficiencies of economic growth and politics typically extend from a misunderstanding of issues and concepts. The Leaders Lab fills in a lot of the gaps, in order to better equip the next wave of Minnesota’s leaders." - Tim Oxborough, Sugar Lake Lodge, 2022 Leaders Lab Chair.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

This year, we will require participants to have updated COVID-19 vaccinations. Some of the companies that we tour require that all visitors be updated with their COVID-19 vaccinations. Accordingly, in order to get the most out of the program, it is crucial that participants attend every piece of each session. In addition, this group spends a lot of time closely together during tours and on buses. With the uncertainty of what is going on in regards to COVID-19, and in order to produce strong programming, this year we will need to require it. This is a decision we do not take lightly and have put a lot of thought and consideration into. If you need to discuss an exemption, please email Allie Hancock at
