Susan Marvin,

Foundation Board Chair

Susan Marvin

"I appreciate the opportunities that Minnesota provided for Marvin, which our family founded in Warroad in 1912.

"Our family and employees have worked hard to build this business here and across the world, but it’s on all of us to understand Minnesota’s current economic state and what lies ahead.

"The Foundation is prepared to address that question, offer recommendations and practical solutions for moving our economy forward."

Minnesota: 2030

Minnesota: 2030 is the first study of its kind in 30 years, taking a long-term look at the development of Minnesota’s economy. It will be released beginning in early 2020.

Center for Workforce Solutions

The Center for Workforce Solutions is a first-of-its-kind business-led initiative to ensure that employers and employees possess the necessary tools for jobs of the future. Through innovative programs, creative leadership and key partnerships, it offers solutions to confront the nation’s workforce shortage.

Leadership Minnesota

Minnesota’s economic engine is powered by more than 100,000 businesses, a diverse landscape interconnected in ways not understood by the casual observer. For a select group, Leadership Minnesota opens the window to a behind-the-scenes look at what makes our state’s economy tick. This exclusive program also helps you understand how public policy crafted at the Capitol impacts the vitality of each and every Minnesota company. By establishing a rich network of Minnesota business leaders, your shared experiences make you more effective leaders at your workplace.

Leaders Lab

Leaders Lab is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage Minnesota’s developing business leaders. This group participates in four, two-day sessions throughout the state where they will tour some of Minnesota’s leading industries and talk with some of our state’s great business leaders. This program enhances personal and professional growth, connects participants with peers they can grow in their careers with and provides understanding into what drives our economy and how policy affects the success of Minnesota businesses.
