Key issues: Energy
Our approach
The Minnesota Chamber believes in the triple goal of affordable, reliable and cleaner energy. Meeting all three parts of this goal is essential for Minnesota businesses to remain competitive regionally, nationally and globally.
While Minnesota has enacted a 100% carbon-free by 2040 mandate, market forces and voluntary commitments were already driving transformational changes in energy supply and use. Whether it’s reducing carbon emissions in their operations, making more sustainable products, or helping their suppliers and customers undertake the same ambitious plans to reduce environmental impact are real and ongoing.
