Kathi is responsible for the Chamber's Grow Minnesota!® program including the development, management and training needs of the close to 90 local chambers and economic development entities that comprise the Grow Minnesota! statewide partnership. In addition, she is involved in statewide business assistance on concerns resulting from Grow Minnesota! business retention visits.
Hired in 2006, Kathi is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She also holds a master’s degree in community and economic development from Penn State University. She draws from more than 20 years of leadership experience in the chamber industry, as well as years of experience working in the private sector for a Fortune 500 company. She is an alumna of the Minnesota Chamber’s Leadership Minnesota program and the Blandin Community Leadership Program. She has experience in community development, serving eight years as a city planning commissioner. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Economic Development Association of Minnesota (EDAM).
Kathi is an avid sports fan.
