Manufacturing is significant in Minnesota’s economy, and our state’s talent ranging from the C-Suite to those working every day in highly technical and automated processes continue to accelerate the productivity of our manufacturing sector. The Minnesota Chamber's 2021 Manufacturers' Summit luncheon panel featured women leaders in manufacturing and their paths to leadership.

The 2021 Legislative Session was defined by the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, considerable financial uncertainty, unprecedented levels of federal stimulus and the state operating under 16 months of emergency powers. With the Legislature, lobbyists and stakeholders working remotely, a record number of bills were introduced, many of which were unrealistic and overly ambitious given the constraints of the session and the partisan make-up of the nation’s only split legislature (House controlled by Democrats, Senate controlled by Republicans).  

The Minnesota Chamber Foundation economic dashboard is, aimed at providing real-time updates on Minnesota’s economy as the state begins to recover from the shock of COVID-19. This online portal offers indicators and analysis of employment and income, business recovery and consumer and business spending. 

As the COVID-19 crisis develops, we will remove older resources from the COVID-19 Business Toolkit and will house them in this archive.
